One Month Post-Grad

What a Journey

Finally, I have completed my undergraduate degree from California State University, Long Beach. As I am writing this, it has been about one month since I finished my courses. One thing I did not expect was the time it takes to compile all of my collegiate work in an organized and presentable way. I have had the opportunity to stockpile the various projects I have worked on throughout the years, which are all showcased on my impeccable LinkedIn page. I find that perfecting my LinkedIn along with this website is an incredibly rewarding and overall fun process. I get to celebrate the past six years I have dedicated to school. 

What’s Next?

Starting my journey into journalism and public relations, I had my sights set on working within the music and entertainment industry. When scrolling endlessly through jobs on LinkedIn or ZipRecruiter, I have found that these industries often require years of experience and background. I am at a stage where I am eager to learn more about strategic communication and the ways in which various industries work. I have an interest in AI and tech, as well as hospitality. 

What I do know is that I am going to dedicate more time to my portfolio and writing skills. The easiest way to showcase my writing is by keeping up with this blog and regularly post on my LinkedIn.
